Entering the German market, the client needed to localize their English video into German.
They had already transcribed the content, and their local office in Germany had translated it. So, all they required was conversion of the media content.
We tabulated the transcript and translation, and timed them to video.
Then we recorded the German voice over, synchronizing it to the English timings.
The client didn’t like the background music in their pre-recorded original English movie, so we presented a short-list of royalty-free music from which they selected a favourite.
The new music was then mixed with the synchronised German voice over, and the finished soundtrack was inserted into the final video file.
After native German QA, the final, translated video was delivered in .MOV, .MP4 and .WMV formats.
