Intro Summary:
When Cureosity, a health-tech innovator in VR therapy, looked to expand internationally, they partnered with Voice Talent Online. The challenge: make their immersive therapy tool feel personal and engaging — in multiple languages. The result? A localised, multilingual VR experience with a 97% patient approval rating.
Challenge
Cureosity’s VR platform helps stroke and trauma patients regain motor function through an immersive, 3D environment. As the company expanded globally, they needed their product to connect – not just translate. They also wanted to improve the effectiveness of the original English version, to boost user motivation and retention.
Solution
Voice Talent Online delivered the therapy tool in five new languages:
Slovenian, Spanish, Arabic, Swedish, and Finnish.
We also recast and re-recorded the English voice over to better engage users through nuanced, professional human performance.
Why human voice over?
Because for something as personal as therapy, tone, warmth and empathy matter. Cureosity chose human voice actors to preserve the emotional impact of their content – and it made a difference.
Results
84% of stroke patients made clinically relevant progress
97% of patients said they felt motivated to continue
Ongoing collaboration between Cureosity and VTO as the product scales globally
Client Feedback

Looking Ahead
With continued growth, Cureosity and VTO are working together to bring human-centred therapy to more languages and more markets.
